Prerequisite: Being worthy and willing to accept the following events.
Notice the important role of the Priesthood.
1- Baptism by immersion for the remission of sins.
2- Receiving the Holy Ghost by the laying on of hands from authorized representatives of the Lord – seeking and following spiritual promptings.
3- Regular renewing of the baptismal covenants by accepting the Lord’s Sacrament – repenting and improving regularly.
4- Accepting of the Aaronic Priesthood and the accompanying responsibilities from authorized representatives of the Lord – using it frequently in the service of others.
5- Receiving a Patriarchal Blessing – regular study and alignment with its counsel.
6- Accepting of the Melchezedek Priesthood and the accompanying responsibilities from authorized representatives of the Lord – using it continually in the service of others.
7- Preparing for and accepting the opportunity to serve a full time mission – honorably and diligently sharing the Gospel blessings and giving compassionate service.
8- Receiving the Endowment from the Lord in one of His Holy Temples – making, keeping and holding sacred the Temple covenants.
9- Being sealed to a worthy companion in the temple marriage ordinance and having posterity born under the covenant or sealed to therein.
10- Enduring to the end – continuing to repent, improve, serve, love, and follow the Savior and His pattern of living as provided in His Gospel Plan.
