The Lord has endowed a special blessing upon those that have been called, set apart and given authority as leaders in His Church and Kingdom. The blessing is that this leadership is granted the ability to have divine spiritual influence over larger numbers of His children – simply, they have the ability to righteously impact more people. They can help the Saints become more Zion-like in their hearts and in their homes today, in preparation for building the City of Zion, and the Second Coming tomorrow. Leaders who are in tune with the Spirit and are seeking to diligently magnify their callings will bless more of God’s children with meaningful spiritual insights; with an amplified appreciation and understanding for the scriptures; with a yearning to live more charitably and more righteously; with an increased commitment and discipleship that grows faith and strengthens testimonies; with greater knowledge of doctrinal principles and the blessings that come through their application; and with a desire for, and the pathway to a deeper appreciation for and personal relationship with the Savior Jesus Christ.
