A Sweet Life is a Life Acting on Faith

An “act of faith” is really an ACTION.

I BELIEVE in walking into the DARKNESS.

I also BELIEVE that God asks us to act on faith.

When we are obedient and get to the edge of the light –

And we TRUST Him to walk a few more steps,

We will find the way is clear and alright.

š

We’ll FIND that it wasn’t some kind of cruel prank –

His strange and misunderstood request.  

We’ll FIND that He’s carefully moved everything

which might cause us to stumble or stress.

š

We will rediscover His amazing love for us.

How He would do anything to BLESS our day.

Tenderly He leaves little bowls of sweet candy

placed for us to FIND along the way.

š

And eventually we will FIND,

when God’s light catches up to us

that Life is really about: walking into the DARKNESS,

His light catching up to us,

and some little bowls of candied sweetness

He’s affectionately placed along our way.
