ALL THINGS
QUESTION - What is the most basic,
common and essential denominator for finding resolution to ANY mortal problem,
dilemma, complication, dispute, doubt, debt, obstacle, pain, trouble, quandary,
worry, predicament, impasse, broken relationship, difficulty, tragedy and
ten-thousand other descriptives for mortal trepidations?
ANSWER - Squaring ourselves
spiritually with the Savior through the correct application of the atonement.
Everything else is secondary - not unimportant, but secondary. Once we have
adequately aligned ourselves spiritually and established our commitment, the
heavenly principle of "all things" will begin to manifest in our lives -
- ·
With
people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible (Matt 19:26)
- ·
I
can do all things through Him who strengthens me (Phil 4:13)
- ·
And
Jesus said to him, “‘If You can?’ All things are possible to him who believes”
(Mark 9:23)
- ·
Looking
at them, Jesus said, “With people it is impossible, but not with God; for all
things are possible
with God” (Mark 10:27)
- ·
And
He said to them, “Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to
you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this
mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing
will be impossible to
you’” (Matt 17:20)
- ·
But
He said, “The things that are impossible with people are possible
with God” (Luke 18:27)
- ·
I
know that You can do all things, and that no purpose of Yours can be thwarted (Job
42:2)
- ·
Therefore
I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received
them, and they will be granted you (Mark 11:24)
- ·
Ah
Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power
and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You (Jer 32:17)
- ·
Is
anything
too difficult for the Lord? (Gen 18:14)
- ·
For
with God nothing shall be impossible (Luke 1:37)
- ·
Wouldn’t
it be great to be friends with: He that ascended up on high, as also he descended
below all things, in that he comprehended all things, that he might be in all and through
all things,
the light of truth (D&C 88:6)
- ·
And:
Wherefore, all things which are good cometh of God; and that which is evil cometh
of the devil; for the devil is an enemy unto God, and fighteth against him
continually, and inviteth and enticeth to sin, and to do that which is evil
continually (Mor. 7:12)
- ·
Yea,
I know that I am nothing; as to my strength I am weak; therefore I will not
boast of myself, but I will boast of my God, for in his strength I
can do all things; yea,
behold, many mighty miracles we have wrought in this land, for which we will
praise his name forever (Alma 12:12)
- ·
But
seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all
these things shall be
added unto you (Matt 6:3)
ALL THINGS - Cecil
F. Alexander, pub.1848
Each little
flow’r that opens, Each little bird that sings,
He made
their glowing colors, He made their tiny wings.
All things
bright and beautiful, All creatures great and small,
All things wise and wonderful: The Lord God made them
all.
The
purple-headed mountains, The river running by,
The sunset
and the morning That brightens up the sky.
All things
bright and beautiful, All creatures great and small,
All things wise and wonderful: The Lord God made them
all.
The cold
wind in the winter, The pleasant summer sun,
The ripe
fruits in the garden, He made them every one.
All things
bright and beautiful, All creatures great and small,
All things wise and wonderful: The Lord God made them
all.
The tall
trees in the greenwood, The meadows where we play,
The rushes
by the water, To gather every day.
All things
bright and beautiful, All creatures great and small,
All things wise and wonderful: The Lord God made them
all.
He gave us
eyes to see them, And lips that we might tell
How great
is God Almighty, Who has made all things well.
All things
bright and beautiful, All creatures great and small,
All things wise and wonderful: The Lord God made them
all.
